Lately, I have discovered double sided scotch tape which does a good mounting job for components with a large surface. If you want to mount tokens, I strongly suggest using full double sided tape or self adhesive labels. Here I will mount a piece of board on fun foam using double sided tape. You could use any other kind of mount if you want. Here is what you need.

• Cutting Mat
• Exacto knife
• Double sided scotch tape
• Cloth
• Bone folder (Optional)
• Mount material (Foam, card board, etc)

1. Tape the board: You must start taping the side of the board. Measure the piece of tape you are going to use. If it is smaller, it is not too bad since you can always add small pieces of tape. Make sure that the corners are well covered because this is the section that is going to peel off first. Also make sure tape does not overlap, it saves some tape and makes sure you will not have bumps on the board. After taping the sides, I decided to tape an X in the middle of the board (with no overlapping). If the space in the middle of the board is not too big, you could just place a small piece of tape in the center make sure it hold in place.
2. Stick the board: You can now stick the board on the mounting material. Since only a portion of the board is sticky, hold the board by placing your fingers in the non-stick area. Starts by sticking on the side or the corner of the board and then gradually stick the rest.
3. Press the board: Use a cloth or a bone folder to place some pressure on the board to make sure the tape sticks correctly.
4. Cut the board: Cut around the edge of the board.

Tada!, you have a nice and clean mounted board which was not messy to make.
