Vikings fighting for the glory of their god

This is a list of variants suggested by me or by players which were not in the original rulebook.
If you have any variant idea, contact me and we'll talk about it. If it looks good, I'll write it here.
All the variants so far has been removed since the release of the second edition, the previous variants became obsolete.
Some people complained that if you play first, it will take a lot of time before you can play again, because you play last on the next turn. So a suggestion is to move the first player marker in counter-clockwise order while still jumping over players that invaded this turn.
This has the effect of making the gap between turns shorter, but it also makes a player play twice in a row, which could add an interesting twist to the game. It's up to you.
With this rule, the stronger people have a chance to invade first. Just resolve the invasion priority in reverse order. To make sure invaders to keep their protection for 1 full turn, during the invasion process they only discard their invader marker when it's their turn. Then at then end of the turn, all players with blockers on the board but no invader marker in front of them will discard their blockers. In another ways, all invaders that did not invade this turn remove their blockers.
City with temples are no longer immune to intimidation and maybe even gods power. But beware, that can create very nasty behavior since Loki can capture temples instantly and allowed intimidation will create a run away leader syndrome. You can also allow invading temples, in this case, the invader must sacrifice unit twice to conquer the temple city.
