Take a dozen of doubloons from puerto rico and add them to san juan. Else use any token or bingo chip.
Make the prospector attractive to casual players and change the balance of picked roles when the prospector becomes too much interesting for not getting picked up.
At the end of the round, if the prospector is not picked up add a doubloon on the tile. When you take the prospector you take the doubloons on the role tile.
You may spend doubloon to pay the construction cost of buildings (1 coin per point). You cannot keep and accumulate doubloons, as soon as you build something you MUST spend all your doubloons and then complete the purchase with cards.
